Biographical Information

Brian Razzino, Ph.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Brian Razzino, Ph.D., is a professional affiliate of Positive Behavior
Dynamics, LLC.  Dr. Razzino provides services through his private practice
as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist largely in the Northern Virginia region.  
His office is conveniently located adjacent to the main office of Positive
Behavioral Dynamics, LLC.  Dr. Razzino received his doctorate in clinical
psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.  He completed his
clinical child and adolescent psychology internship at Children’s National
Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington, DC.  Subsequently, Dr. Razzino
received two National Research Service Awards from NIMH for two years of
post-doctoral research and clinical training through CNMC and George
Washington University’s Medical School (GWU).  He has published in peer-
reviewed research periodicals, trained psychology and psychiatry clinicians,
and is currently on faculty at CNMC and GWU.

Dr. Razzino is available for consultation and clinical services to Positive
Behavioral Dynamics, LLC and our clients on matters of clinical psychology.  
These clinical services include the following:

  • Individualized child, adolescent, and adult therapy
  • Parent consultation and family-focused guidance
  • Psychological testing of intellectual, educational, adaptive and
    executive functioning, and learning and socio-emotional development,
    especially for individuals with mental retardation, autism, and other
    developmental disabilities
  • Consultation with PBD staff on matters of clinical psychology

With the main goal of capitalizing on behavioral strengths, Dr. Razzino works
to maximize the prospects of progress and growth.  Dr. Razzino believes
that taking a comprehensive approach to evaluating children, adolescents,
and adults is essential to understanding their unique needs and best helps
in the formulation of effective and practical interventions that address day-
to-day issues.
