
| Collaboration, Consultation and Professional Referral Positive Behavioral Dynamics seeks and promotes collaboration, consultation, and professional association with other clinical areas associated with the delivery of behavior-analytic services. These consultative sources could include Behavior Analysis, Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, Special Education, Nutrition, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Medicine, and Psychiatry. Positive Behavioral Dynamics can either provide these services through their existing Clinical Associates or can assist clients in the recruitment of clinicians from these various consultative sources. Staff and Parent Training Positive Behavioral Dynamics can provide staff and parent training on program familiarity, program implementation and integrity, behavioral observation, data collection and recording, data reliability, post-treatment maintenance, and motivating staff and parents toward behavioral change. Positive Behavioral Dynamics can arrange, organize, develop, and present workshops, preservice training, inservice training, and annual retraining for individuals involved in the provision of behavior-analytic services. Some pertinent topics include: Principles of Learning and Behavior Analysis; Serious and Challenging Behavioral Problems; Behavioral Crisis Management; Functional Assessment and Analysis of Problem Behavior; Developing and Implementing a Behavioral Intervention Plan; Developing and Implementing an ABA Program; Principles and Practice of Verbal Behavior Training; Improving Technical Aspects of Treatment Development; Basic-Applied Connection in Behavior Analysis; and Supervising the Implementation of a Formal Behavioral Change Program. Supervision and Mentorship Positive Behavioral Dynamics can provide supervision, mentorship and tutoring for practitioners of behavior analysis seeking certification as either a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCABA). The supervisor and supervisee must adhere to the requirements of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) regarding supervised fieldwork and supervision for certification as either a BCBA or BCABA. These requirements are specified in the relevant Eligibility Standards for either level of certification and in the BACB Guidelines for Responsible Conduct found at www.bacb.com.
